Mrs. Garmon's 3rd grade class

Reading - We are working on recognizing complete sentences. In our writing we are working on responding to literature. We are learning to use strong ideas in our writing. We will be reviewing the four types of writing (narrative, persuasive, informational, and response to literature).

Math - We will continue to work on area and perimeter this week. In addition, we are going to learn about multiplying a 2 digit number by a 1 digit number. We are also going to learn about the fair trading method for division.

Social Studies - We will present our projects next week. Students will take notes while others present. Next, we will focus on the 3 branches of government.
